Story #2; Chapter Two - Bobby's Beginning (Part One)

"Hey Bobby! Come over and help!" came a yell from behind the fence. Bobby stood up from his gardening and walked over. "What's wrong this time John?" he asked, amused at the sight of his neighbour. John was doubled over with a bunch of gardening tools lying on top of him. "You know I am not good with these tools, they don't like me." John said as Bobby pulled him to his feet. "You wanna learn?" Bobby asked. "No thanks, I would rather leave the gardening to you my green friend." John began to walk back to his house. "Hey Bobby, call me out when you are done all right? I will be in the house looking after my wife," he said. "Sure, just make sure you pay me for my work later, and not give me a bunch of pumpkins that I helped you plant like the last time," Bobby yelled back at the departing figure. "Hey I can't help it that I am poor!" John replied and went inside. Bobby got down to his work, whistling as he did. It was a beautiful day, with the birds chirping, and grey clouds spreading over the dark skies... Grey clouds? Bobby thought to himself. "Damn, it's going to rain," he cursed under his breath, as he hurriedly packed his friend's tools into the corner and went back to his own garden. John yelled out from his house's window. "Bobby! You forgot my spade!" Bobby looked back and saw the shiny silver still laid out on the grass. The rain began to pour heavily. Damn, rain in the evening just makes me want to boil an egg, eat it and go to bed, Bobby thought to himself. Bobby climbed over the fence once more and into John's garden and made his way for the spade, tripping as he did so. "Damn John, you should be thankful there's a gardener like me next door to do your weeding for you..." Bobby muttered under his breath. He picked up the spade and went to the garden shed to hang it up with the rest of the tools. "There you go," he said, satisfied. The thunder roared and lightning stricked across the skies. "Alright, alright, I am heading home, quiet already." Bobby climbed back to his own garden and made his way to the house, absent-mindedly wanting to light up his cigarette, laughing at himself as he did.
*
The night skies loomed over the town, and it was still raining since evening. Bobby laid back on his sofa to enjoy reading his newspaper. The thunder roared as loud as ever outside and Bobby went to open the curtains to admire the rainy scenery outside. "I love the rain," he said to himself, as he smiled at the crying skies. His eyes then shifted from the skies to what was happening next door. A black figure was leaving the house and heading towards the road. "John?" Bobby questioned his own eyes. Bobby took a look at his clock. Eleven 'o clock, where's he going out so late? Bobby thought to himself as he continued to observe the dark figure make its way down the road. Bobby, having nothing to do, decided to call his neighbour up to ask how were things going. He picked up the phone only to find it dead. "The telephone lines must have been cut. The lightning must have tripped it," he said to himself. Bobby grabbed his coat and using it to cover himself ventured into the rain and made his way to John's house. He knocked on the door, but there was no reply. Bobby decided that John's wife, Martha should be in, at the very least, so he called out her name, knocking as he did. No reply. Bobby tried the door, and was surprised to find it open. He entered the darkness of his friend's house and peered about in the dark, trying to make his way for the light. He bumped onto a chair, making it fall, as he went for the light. Bobby sweared under his breath, and as he did, he tripped over something else and landed chin first onto the floor. "Ow..." he got up, rubbing his chin as he did so, and groping with his hands he found the switch, and turned on the lights. Looking at what he tripped upon, Bobby nearly fainted at the sight infront of him. There on the floor with half her head blown to bits by a shotgun, was Martha...

Story #2; Chapter One - Bobby Meets The Boy

His hands were cold with rainwater splashing upon his palms. His hair wet from the dripping remnants of the morning rain from the window sill. Bobby leaned on the wall of the cottage, inhaling another mouthful of smoke. He exhales and sighed as he did so. Infront of him, a small boy looked at him with wonder, curious at how a small, thin brown stick could allow Bobby to breathe out air that was visible to the naked eye. "Go away kid, I have no time to mess around with kids like you." The boy remained rooted to the ground on which he stood. "Sir, please teach me to do that?" the boy asked politely. Bobby coughed and proceeded to shake a bundle of ash onto the grass. "No way kid, your mother would be upset," Bobby replied. The boy shook his head. "She doesn't talk anymore," the boy said quietly. Bobby crushed his cigarette and walked towards the garden shed to start on his duties. The boy followed suit. "Go away kid, I am serious, I will tell your dad," Bobby threatened, irritated. "He threw us away, my mom and I that is," the boy replied. Bobby stopped and turned around. "Yeah? Well buzz off kid, because I am starting to see why he did that," Bobby turned back and continued to head for the shed. The boy didn't follow this time. Bobby went into the shed, he looked back and saw that the boy was gone. "Good, now with that nuisance gone, I can start work." Bobby took out his gardening tools and proceeded to work on the lawn. "Damn these weeds..." cursed Bobby as he used his tools to hack at the elongated leaves of the weeds. "Sir, do tell me why." Bobby fell back. "What on earth?" he muttered under his breath. The boy was squatting infront of Bobby as he played with a small clover leaf. "You said you could see why my father left my mom and myself, I want to know why..." Bobby stood up, dusted himself and walked into the house. The boy entered the house as well. Bobby took a quick turn into the kitchen, the boy accompanied him as well. "Look kid! Get lost! Don't you have someone else to annoy? Go play with your toys or something!" Bobby yelled angrily. "I don't have toys, our family could never afford it," the boy answered. Bobby snorted angrily and proceeded to make himself a sandwich. Opening the cabinets he found the food he needed for his lunch. Two slices of bread, a piece of ham and some veggies. Bobby was about to place the sandwich into his mouth when he saw the small boy eyeing it hungrily. "Have it kid, and get lost after eating it." Bobby handed the sandwich over to the small boy and went back outside to continue his work. The small boy bit into the sandwich and followed. The boy sat on the fence and watched as Bobby continued to do his gardening, cursing and swearing as he did. After awhile, Bobby sat down on the now cleared garden of his and took out another cigarette to puff. He looked around for the small boy and couldn't find him anywhere. "Good riddance," he said to himself as he lighted up his stick. Looking around again, he caught sight of a small figure walking on the road. Bobby also took notice of something more frightening. Behind the small figure, was a long trail of blood...

Sidetracks; There are always two sides to a coin after all.

Keeping and maintaining a friendship that lasts is very difficult. Sometimes it's not because of your own flawed ways that is causing the friendship to fall apart, instead, it could involve the other party instead. Such as the situation I am in. Why can't people just be nicer and just help around, or to care alittle for their friends whenever they have the chance? I simply can't understand what's so difficult about keeping your fucking comments to yourself, and just shut up when you get your cue. I am pissed off that right now, even when I speak to a friend, (a friend, mind you), I have to think and ponder over whether to say what it is I have to say or not. Especially since this friend considers my words as mundane and seems to consider it as though I am talking to a wall. Then how on earth are you supposed to talk anymore?! I mean seriously, you fucked up asshole, if you are the only one that is allowed to talk bullshit, then honestly, you need treatment! Why start a relationship whereby both parties have to consider what they talk about?! Why couldn't two friends just chat about something that's free to both parties and simply enjoy talking to each other, however mundane the rubbish is?! Seriously, I don't mind people chatting random stuff to me, I accept them and I can understand sometimes, the only thing that I don't like about people chatting random stuff to me would be when they start to chat in a very fucked up manner. Firstly, if you are cocky, and like to fucking boast, then go talk to a fucking wall or something, because praising yourself (and meaning it), is a fucked up thing to do. Unless you are simply sharing the joy with a friend, then that's fine, but not to go to the extent to lay out every single card on the table to help you say the words, "hey I am the best". Secondly, I cannot stand assholes that say they don't care about their friends and take friendships lightly, if you want to be that way, then don't start a fucking friendship in the first place, seriously, go bite the bark off a tree. Thirdly, comments. Be sensitive for the fucking damnation! Shooting off your mouth might hurt someone, and if you think that insults are cool, well, here's one for ya, you fucking bitchy person. Go and drown yourself in cocaine, or inject yourself with some drugs to help you clear your fucking polluted head. Your head's become so big, it could do with some clearing up. Honestly, I SERIOUSLY CAN'T BE BOTHERED WITH YOU, SO FUCK OFF. Ok! Fine, fine, I understand that sometimes, as you guys are growing up you get those certain mood swings. Well, seriously, you can be nice people if you want to, but when you get all fucked up, you really ARE FUCKED UP. So does trying to be nice kill you? Not quite so, right?! THEN WHY DON'T YOU FUCKING TRY?! GROW UP ALREADY! You guys are not fucking kids anymore! Seriously, get a brain and use it! I cannot stand it any longer than you guys do, because I think that true friends should help each other out whenever they can, and not backstab each other with a knife! I admit that I have been backstabbing, but I know it's wrong, and the only reason why I am doing it is because I want to stay on the good books on the angered party, BUT THIS BRINGS US BACK TO THE VALUES OF FRIENDSHIP! WHY DO FRIENDS HAVE TO CONSIDER WHAT THEY SAY TO EACH OTHER?! ISN'T THE FREEDOM OF TALKING TO FRIENDS THE REASON WHY FRIENDS ARE FRIENDS IN THE FIRST PLACE?! THINK ABOUT IT!

Sidetrack; Confidence.

The exams have begun, and everyone seems to have their heads buried in books already. I myself am not excluded from this category of "mugging". As I busy myself in preparations for the huge battle up ahead, I'd stopped to ponder many times if I had done enough. The question has been lurking from within the deepest depths of my mind, as it always does whenever the deciding examinations draw near. The question as always, will only be answered after the entire battle is over. I rub my palms and flipping through the books, I continued to receive as much as I could from the knowledge provided. Yet, I am unable to remove that knacking feeling that I have not done enough and the concentration is broken for awhile. I tried to rid myself of that feeling of not having done enough, however new feelings surfaced. One of which I could not change. The feeling that I won't have enough time to do enough. It is my fault, for having let myself come to such a state. Initially, I had wanted to study hard enough so that I may enter the examination with a state of confidence. Right now, that particular feeling is dull, and yet my spirit remains strong. I still have the confidence if not in the examination, then in myself that I am able to finish my revision, at least enough for the upcoming war. As I finished thinking about this, I finished the preparation of my books. My arsenal was ready, and it's now time for me to bring in the heavy artillery, my trump cards lay in wait, as my enemies taunt me, they tremble with vigour, as do I, for together, we shall win this war!

Sidetracks; The moon shone brightly, as I made my COMEBACK!

Yes! I am back folks, after a long period of time, of which I spent most fruitfully on my studies. Of course, I wasn't intentionally avoiding the pleasures of the internet, instead, I was denied access to it by a familiar source you may all know as your ISP aka, Internet Service Provider. Anyway, the result was that I was able to focus alittle better on my books, which was a good outcome as well, considering the improvement of memory abillity and concentration. However, this mustn't stop here. The end of year examinations are approaching, and I certainly have some things to prove myself worthy of. I won't be blogging as much as I usually do, due to this fact, and thus, I leave you with the things that had taken place today. The moon was shining brightly, (this was to be expected, it's the frickin' mid-autumn festival), mooncakes were eaten at an extremely fast rate, (trust me, you don't know want to go where I have been in terms of the fast consuming of sticky cake and yolk filled goodness), lanterns burning, (literally, I mean, haven't it come to realization to those damned parents that their three year-old kids wouldn't be able to hold a paper lantern till they find out how to control it? You are wasting paper here! Releasing of carbon dioxide to the air isn't helping global warming either!), and my friends and I were busy dealing with candles by the sandy playground at Zhenghua Park. Yes, we made a nicely shaped heart (Linsay drew it, so you know what to expect), placed it with candles and lit them up. It was a rather pretty sight to see the candles burning, till the wind came along and we could hardly take pictures with "lobangs" here and there in the heart (systiole malfunction). Anyway, we went on to play with the sparklers, being poor, we couldn't afford the noisier ones, so we stuck by the old noise-friendly ones. A group of us began to throw bomb bags at each other, exploding sand beneath our feet. Damn, I got hit, but it hardly felt like a sting... *smirks.* Although Horny D aka Daryl did began to use Andrew's perfume spray to start a bigger bonfire with the candles to try and turn our feet into charcoal... Apparently, nice aromas began to diffuse into the air from the blasts from within Horny's fiery bonfire. So we all gathered to watch Horny blast the candles into nitro, (from 2fast2furious). Max used a sparkler to make a rocket, however, it really didn't manage to take it's maiden voyage, however it did manage to start a few sparks onto the sand though. The take-off was a failure in overall. So in the end, the group began to make shapes out of sand and placing candles in them for decor. We got tired of that after awhile and in the end, we placed an entire bunch of candles together, in a cluster and got Horny D to blast them into super nitro. The end product was amazing, took some amazing videos of the entire blast too. You may consider this as dangerous, but tell that to the kids who were throwing their fired up firestarters into the trees, SERIOUSLY! One of the trees caught fire, but somehow the fire died out, we didn't really bother either. After the fun at the playground, we headed down to my place, where we took our refuge in the clubhouse, before deciding to leave due to an old woman's incessant nagging. ("You all how old already? One wearing uniform, from next door, bing bong bing bong!" - Old Woman That Has Nothing Better To Do But Scold Innocent Teenagers Who Are Just Trying To Take A Break In The GAMES ROOM.) Anyway, we came up to my house for a short while, had a couple of drinks and the trip was over. It was fun to hang out before the exams, it's probably the last one before the mugging begins, so what's left to say, but... LET'S MUG!
The Pictures:

This is the candle-lit shape we made, pretty good eh?

Then the wind blew... and "lobang number one" came along. (refer to the top left.)

Then "lobang number two... followed by "lobang number three..."(spot the holes!)

Not forgetting the DDs! Go Dirty Dudes!

Playing with the sparklers!

Playing with the sparklers!

Hey, what is this?! This sparkler isn't burning as brightly as its brothers and sisters!
LOUSY QUALITY!

The weird sand shapes begin to form... are those what I think they are?!

Cooking a friend's leg, because Jia Hui aka Spiderman
got "hungry".

Ready for some nitro action?!

And Daryl does the pyro action! Watch that nitro go!

My eyes couldn't open as wide as usual! Don't ask why, but somehow the wax on my nose was kinda hot and so...yeah...

Our first group picture, with only candles as a source of light for the picture... (how clever...)

Er... Let's play a game I like to call, "Name Who's Who?!"

Me and Max, the rocket maker, and Linsay trying to sneak up behind us...

Time for a cool picture! But Daryl decides to take a picture for Linsay instead! SPOILED!

One picture in the baby pool, before we got caught by the guards...

Well, that's all for this post folks, till the next time which would probably be after the exams, catch you later.

Sidetracks; About that previous post...

Not being over-emotional about anything! I am just feeling rather down lately over the results of my tests, don't worry, I will get over it. I know I can. *Takes a deep breath, and takes a brave step forward.* The future is still bright for the chosen one! I will not give in! So long as every vein in my body still flows with blood, I shall conquer my worst enemies! (Sorry if I spoiled your appetite with that.) Anyway, going for a competition in a day's time, something related to geography and social studies, somewhere in between the two. The prize's a whoppin' six hundred dollars, no kidding! I really want to get a hundred and twenty ka-chings into my ka-ching keeping machine aka my wallet. But going up against some of the powerhouse schools, looks like it's rather bleak, but it's best to keep my hopes up! ALRIGHT! CHARGE!

Sidetracks; Neither here nor there, right in between.

Hey it's been a few weeks since i last posted, but that should be understandable considering that these past few weeks weren't being spent in vain. Instead, for the period of time that I have not touched a single key on the board with the idea to blog, I had been studying. Surprised? Don't be, it's only normal that I had to, because the common test was drawing near, well, that was a few weeks ago, right now, though not exactly free, but the examination fever has died down alittle, at least for the moment. Now the results are coming back in, some of the papers brought smiles, although most brought utter disappointment. Here's a question: "Why is it that when people work so hard to achieve a certain goal, that they often find themselves not doing as well as they should?" The answer's simple, I guess. In my opinion, when people decide to do their best, they won't be satisfied to know that after all they have done, that they fail to achieve their desired mark, however, the desired mark that they so desperately want to grasp, it's only because they are just showing the quality of us humans, and that's greediness. But it's alright to hunger for higher grades I suppose, I know I hungered. I craved. However, I did not work hard enough, and as the saying goes, "there is never a free bowl of rice", so in order to fill up the craving for higher grades, I guess I should be working harder. But right now, I am caught in a dilemma, and that is, now that I realize that I have wasted too much of my time, so much, that I now question myself as such. Doubtful, I now ask myself, is it too late?

Sidetracks; Looking through?

As I made my way down the street, that is when I saw you...
But all you did, was just to plainly look through...
Everytime I look at your face,
my tears start to flow,
because you,
make me feel,
so alone... so alone...
As I waited for you to try to recognize my love,
but you didn't care and within me the darkness lurked...
So everytime I tried to say hi,
I just watch you pass me by,
so I wait,
and I wait,
patiently...
For you to come and reply me...
I am not transparent, see...
I am not...
I am not...
a piece of glass...
Baby, look at me,
I am right here,
to stop your shedding tears,
because I am no longer glass,
because I will be here for you...
So we finally began our beautiful friendship,
but if I knew that it would turn out like this, I would skip,
I never meant to hurt your heart,
or to make you cry,
but you know,
that we can't...
can't deny...
The feeling's not the same anymore,
a wall's built in between,
it's that wall,
that wall built,
out of glass!
But let us try to break,
that thin wall,
of white transparency,
because you...
know that I...
will be here...

for you...

Sidetracks; The emotions flow.

Recently, I have come to realize certain things about myself and others around me. I for one, do not wish to talk about others as though I know them, because I dislike it when others are talking like they know alot, yet in between their claims is just empty talk. These are just my opinions, and I hope you can relate to them too...

People, we hate people who puts on masks, masks that hide their true character, masks that give them the look that they are friendly, kind, and generous. We hate them for that, but don't we all try to put on this mask? A person who's truly able to rid themselves of that mask, is a person truly worth respecting. This mask, we all need it. The people around you, needs you to wear it as well. Why? This mask, without it, the inner beasts, or the dark secrets of yourself you don't wish for people to see will be exposed. Had it not been for us trying to put on a mask all the time, there wouldn't be the kind people you see upon the streets, at work, at school... Look at it this way, had it not been for this mask that we try to put on for others to see, we would be treating them like dirt, now wouldn't we? Well, most of us are like that, but there are those special people who can display true kindness under all circumstances... These people are just people who have found their inner kindness. We are all born with compassion, but we don't show it till the last minute. When someone is hurt, we show it. When someone sheds a tear, we show it. When someone is fragile and needs support, we show it. These are the things that makes us human. I myself put on a mask. I look happy on the surface, but that's my nature, I like making people laugh, because I feel a sense of achievement when I can bring smiles upon people's faces. I for one, however, am not always the fun-loving guy my friends know me by and by... I have my secrets too. My own thoughts, my own feelings. Like at this moment, I want someone to talk to. I want someone that can share my thoughts, my innermost feelings, someone that will understand me. My parents? The age gap is too great there, but some thoughts are definitely worth sharing with your parents... But still, someone to chat to, someone true, someone worthy for me to share my secrets with... I need...a friend.

Sidetracks; Man, I really got to start being consistent!

Hey guys, I am blogging again, and how long has it been? Pretty long I am sure, since I last made a post. Anyway, not alot's been going on. Life's starting to get pretty monotonous as usual, with the usual schoolwork, tests and more schoolwork. Recently, the National Day is approaching, and so as usual, there will be a parade, and I am in the GOH or Guards Of Honour contigent once more. Seems as though a spot in there's been marked out for me. Anyway, tiresome trainings have started, and up till now, we are only left with another training before the big one next week. My legs were pretty uptight during today's training as I had just ran five rounds for the first time in a long while two days back. It felt great to be running again, but I am really scared about my knees... Anyway, mega-stress tomorrow as I have to deal with three tests, double maths and chemistry. Ouch. Homework to be done as well, but I am getting there, hahahahaha. Well, that's about it for this post, sorry it's so short, but there really hasn't been much for me to chat about. Till then, catch you later. By the way, hope you guys appreciate the change in font colour, hahahahaha, realized that the previous one hurt, so there you go. The music's rather awful, I know, try to bear with it...

Sidetracks; I AM BACK! NOW TO LET YOU IN THE KNOW OF WHAT HAPPENED AT THE INDOs!

Hey I am back, *groans*, Indonesia was alot of fun, and so I am already missing it! Anyway, here's how the trip began.

Day One:
It all began as I woke up early, around six in the morning, as I got ready, I bid my room goodbye(lame, I know, but I do this kind of stuff), and went ahead to grab the bags that I packed the night before, and headed to school. I left most of my school's P.E. shorts in my school's classroom's cupboard, so I had no choice but to use my old ones, and if you know how huge I was, you should know that when I wore the old pair, I looked like I was wearing a black dress. Anyway, I got to school and people were already there, apparently, we were all just waiting for the bus to arrive at six-thirty. Since I had time, I begged my teacher to allow me to just go up to class and grab a proper pair of P.E. shorts, that she allowed, and so without leaving the ez-link in the key cupboard(that's my school's way of knowing who took the keys and shit), I just grabbed the keys to my class, and got my shorts. The bus arrived just as I came out of the office the second time(to put the keys back in the cupboard), and so we boarded it and was on our way to the jetty. The bus ride was mostly meant for us to catch alittle more shut-eye, before we go into the hyper-mode we were supposed to at Indonesia, but for me, I was still too excited to sleep, and so I sat in the front and chatted with the teachers that were going. In that conversation alone, I was asked by one of the teachers to get the bus driver to stop for us to eat since we weren't going to be able to eat breakfast at Indonesia. We couldn't stop in the middle of the highway, so in the end, we just had to bear with the hunger till we reached the port. While there, we had our breakfast at a very lousy excuse for a coffeeshop, and I ate a sandwich with a taste that I won't soon forget. My friend felt that it tasted so bad, eating it with the pepper and black soy sauce was the only way he could chomp it down at all. After the breakfast, we checked in, and made our way to the boat. The port itself shook and I thought I was sea-sick. I entered the boat, and damn, I lost my balance (infront of the girls!). Anyway I decided not to stay below deck any longer and proceeded to go to the roof of the boat which was awesome. I could feel the sea breeze in my hair, and the sights were amazing. I really felt at peace up there, with the warm sun shining down upon me. The boat trip lasted an entire two hours, so you could tell that when I came down from the boat, my hair looked like it just went for an audition for a Gatsby commercial. We all checked out of the Indonesian Port, and the teachers there, proceeded to cram us all into this really small bus with our bags and everything. The windows of the bus were spoiled and the windscreen was cracked, (so much for five star accomodation, huh?), in the end, we had to suffer an entire hour and forty-five minutes across the countryside, on a small and rocky trail, through a short downpour (which ended up drenching me since my window REFUSED to close itself) and finally we reached the other side of the island. We got off the bus, and came face to face with a nice "resort", complete with palm trees, a sandy spot for volleyball, a beach, a sea, and huts built over water which we were going to stay in...WAIT A MINUTE! HUTS BUILT OVER WATER WHICH WE WERE GOING TO STAY IN?! VAD ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Those were the words that crossed my mind but it wasn't half bad at all once I got a closer look inside the huts. Nice bedding, clean furniture, except for the constant buzzing of the annoying carpenter bees, and the fact that the toilet is right beside the bed...It's not bad. We placed our stuff down, and I was assigned to hut number one, and I thought that we could choose our mates, maximum five, I heard, and so I got my friends, Daryl, Zhengyu, Jun Jie, and not forgetting Jia Hui to form the group called the Dude Dirties, aka, DDs. Haha, it was a lame group that talked about nothing but disgusting stuff, haha. Anyway, just when we got comfortable, the room order was shuffled, and I ended up with my sir, and a few secondary twos. After placing our luggage in the huts, it was time for lunch, the scenery was beautiful, and it was really nice. Anyway, for the rest of the first day of a three days two nights course, we did rock-climbing, (I REACHED THE TOP!), and we were given our own free time later, so I played volleyball till I got a tan. There was an obstacle course that we did as well, and archery too! It was alot of fun. Later that evening after the delicious dinner at the canteen area, (which was also a cool hut), some of them did star-gazing, whilst I tried to catch fish and crabs. Thereafter, I went to sleep...Until he came. From the darkness, he came, he spins webs, he is...Spiderman (Jia Hui). He kept the entire group next door up with his constant web shooting that even they started scolding him, and when they scolded you could hear for miles and as you can probably tell as well, a night of sleep was hard to achieve. Jia Hui became known as Spiderman the next morning.
Day Two:
We had a scrumptous dinner of mee goreng, then we did the flying fox, and my slipper flew off! After lunch, we headed off to do something called "Boomnetting", whereby you jump from the second level of a moving boat down into the ocean and net below! It was awesome, but first we had to kayak ourselves to the boat, which was really a pain, my arms hurt, but it was alot of fun. We had to kayak back after the "Boomnetting" and it was funny to see how this pair, my friends, kayak to another island which was totally off course! Haha, it was so hilarious to see their small bodies over the ocean water. Anyway, when we got back from the "boomnetting" the entire afternoon was spent, and so we just got ready for the campfire that second night, which I emceed for, heh. Anyway, the campfire was short and brief with alot of fun dancing. After the campfire, we proceeded to the star-gazing area right beside the canteen area to tell ghost stories. It was scary yet fun at the same time, then my teacher wanted to play a trick on us, and so they hid a phone with a scary ringtone in my friend's pocket, and asked him to go join us. We would never have expected this friend of mine to have a phone and so when the ringtone began to play and the scary lady voice began to laugh maniacally, we freaked out, but my friend, Rose is his nick, freaked out the most, and we laughed about it later when the truth was out. We slept happily that night without Spiderman's usual web business.
Day Three (Last Day):
The next day, we ate a nice breakfast again with pratas, or pancakes as they call it there. Then we headed off to the beach to fix up our own rafts. The idea was to pile barrels and wooden poles together, but we did that terribly and our raft sank in the middle... Anyway, we did sailing after that, and I learnt how to sail! It was cool. I was actually piloting a real sailboat for myself, and it was awesome. My friends somehow ended up at the rocks, and capsized, it was hilarious, but we had fun. We were sad to go, as after lunch we were to leave the site, and head on to the mall for shopping, so it was another one and a half hour or was it an hour and forty-five minutes? Anyway, we did our shopping and finally left for Singapore. We bid our farewells, and in two shakes of a lamb's tail, we were on the boat ride home. There was a feeling of serenity, and peace in my heart as I gazed at the night sky from the boat's roofs, it was soothing, yet I felt...lonely. Anyway, it was home sweet home after that, (I was so afraid that they wouldn't allow me to put the indonesian fishing rod I brought back through), we all took the bus that was prepared for us back to school, and most of us slept, since the trip had been loads of fun, and we finally decided to rest. I went home after that, all in all, it was an amazing trip that I will definitely remember.

Now THE PICTURES:

The bus trip to the port, damn, I am going to miss Singapore...NOT. :D

The coffeeshop with REALLY bad sandwiches, trust me, you will cry eating, it IS that bad.

Outside view of the port, hey wait a minute, CHANGI PRISON EFFECT! WHAT THE HELL?! CHOY! TOUCHWOOD! xO

Happy faces before eating the sandwiches, my friend's sleeping, what the hell.

See the sign on top? Yup, it's time to depart!

On the boat! Or at least, IN it!

Still holding out, wait till sea-sickness start coming in, these happy faces will be green.

ALRIGHT! ABOVE DECK, FRESH AIR! SEA BREEZE! WARM SUN! SEA BACKDROP! PERFECT!

WELCOME TO INDONESIA, BINTAN!

MY HUT! WOOHOO!

THE HUTS OVER WATER! (This later became Hut Two, aka, Spiderman's Hut.)

What's inside the girls' hut...heh heh heh... Now the question is, how did I manage to take this picture.

FOOD!

FOOOOOOOOOD!

Wha...? Oh, FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!

Another view of the site, nice place, huh?

See those rocks? I will get there someday... *Makes a hero standing position.*

Like I said, I WILL GET THERE!

The rock-climbing activity, prepare for some heavy damage to your arms, friends.

Here we go... One step at a time...One step at a time...

AND HE REACHES THE TOP! VASHON RULES! IN YOUR FACE, SPIDERMAN! WHO NEEDS WEB WHEN YOU HAVE SUSPENSION ROPES AND NICE INDONESIAN DUDES TO HOLD YA?

Woah, what the heck is this?! HELP SPIDERMAN! HELP!

Alright folks...He moves to the center...He takes his position...

...AND HE PUNCHES! WHAT A SHOT!

The obstacle course, think NPCC ropes obstacles at ATC.

STEP RIGHT UP! STEP RIGHT UP! FIFTY RUPEE THAT HE SHOOTS IN! OR OUT! PLACE YOUR BETS!

Alright you guys, I know you placed your bets on me shooting in, but you GOTTA GIVE ME ROOM, I MEAN, COME ON! How's a guy gonna concentrate like this?!

AND SO! THE QUEST BEGINS! TO REACH ROCKY ISLAND!

BUT! THE HERO DISTRACTED HIMSELF AND INSTEAD BUSIED HIMSELF CATCHING CRABS! WHAT THE HELL!

HOWEVER, EVEN HE FAILS AT CATCHING CRABS! SO WHAT DOES HE TURN TO???
(Refer to next picture.)

HE TAKES PICTURES, THAT'S WHAT!

AND HE CONTINUES TO TAKE PICTURES...

Before long...It was night, NO CHANCE TO GO THERE TODAY!

The next morning brought new hope to our hero... For this...was low tide.

The path was set. All the hero had to do now, was avoid those damn crabs.

HE DID IT! OUR HERO HAS DONE IT! ROCKY ISLAND, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!

TAKING PICTURES ON ROCKY ISLAND!

What's that? Is it a bird? A plane? NO, IT'S A ADVERTISEMENT JET STATING, "VASHON HAS MADE IT!!!" What the hell?

More pictures taken on Rocky Island.

The flying fox, after breakfast... What the hell was I running so happily away from...?
*Tries to recall.*

WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED HERE?!

This guys, is "Boomnetting", looks like a stunt from fear factor, doesn't it?

This picture was taken after I attempted the "Boomnetting", for the 478th time. \m/

Eat your vegetables, kids, it's going to be a LONGGGG night, with that campfire coming up, you need all the strength and fibre you can get!

THE CAMPFIRE DID SOME CRAZY THINGS TO US!

Alright, I really wasn't sure if I was mentally sound at that period of time...

Alright, fixing up a raft...that's easy! (If you don't mind it sinking in the middle of the ocean, of course.)

Yup, it's gonna sink.

SEE YOU BINTAN! WE WILL MISS YOU!
