Stories In Storeys: Sidetracks; The experience these past few weeks! (Part 1 of 3)

Hey all, this is a three part blog that I am going to do, and it covers three pretty major events that I have been through these past few weeks, heh, and yeap, the reason why I took so long to blog all these is because I am currently in "cold turkey" and I am not coming online anymore once I am done with these blogs, unless of course another good event that is worth blogging about comes around, but till then I don't think I'd be coming online, because the major exams are drawing near and it's really important that I get focused, which I am proud to say is working! Anyway on to the story, the first event that I had was the mini Fun Fiesta that my school organized. Basically the graduating classes took over the entire event and we had to prepare for it. We were told to set up games and food stalls based on a traditional theme, basically the 60s, 70s, and so forth. It was reallly fun on the actual day, when we all came dressed up as coolies, people with retro outfits, some girls took the "Kampong Girl" look, and some even came dressed up as the Beatles! Being lazy, I simply chose to dress like a coolie, because a white shirt and a pair of black shorts really isn't even difficult to find, heh, all I did was find a stick and I was ready! As the event started we began carrying signs with words like, "Big Sale" in many different languages to promote our food stall, thereafter we went to the games stall where our game was selling out like hot cakes. Our game was "tikam-tikam" and you guessed it, it was a gambling game, and it turns out we had some really itchy hands that day itching to burn their fingers with our game. When all was done, my class managed to sell away all our items and we reaped profits from both our games and food stalls which we celebrated by popping crackers and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
