Sidetracks; 20km

Cycling. Cycling. Cycling. That's all we did for 20km for the entirety of this outing!!! Today, I went cycling with my friends at East Coast Park, and with an effort, fueled by curiousity, we decided to go beyond where we stopped previously during our last cycle with the dudes. Previously we had stopped at a border sign which prevented us from going further, but it seems luck is on our side today as we managed to go beyond that and even get to Changi Beach all the way from East Coast! I know that's not much to some of you, but to us it was no easy feat! Boy, my legs are really tired and i am so drained that I am not going to type out so much about what happened, but let the pictures do the talking themselves (despite the lack of it, heh).

Pictures:

Heh heh, we stumbled upon this on our way to Changi Beach, this was after the border, so for those of you interested in exploring Changi Beach from ECP, this is a treat for you!!! The scenery was so nice, that it didn't even seemed like it was part of Singapore, perhaps some European country or something, provided those green railings didn't give the picture away, heh, but it was a fun place to chill for a bit and the echoes there are AMAZING, gotta try it!

Me and Jian Lei in New Zealand, HA-HA-HA! *Sarcastic Laughter*

AND THERE IT IS! Changi Airport, ladies and gentlemen! LOL, what's Changi without the good ol' planes flying around noisily eh? This was an absolute treat for plane fanatics (aka Jian Lei), and I got into the mood myself of enjoying these steel bodies of flight taking off and landing on the runway with a loud whirr. It was a fantastic experience! (I tried to race the plane which was taking off, ridiculous attempt hahaha!)

AND THEN IT TOOK TO THE AIR! I love this picture as well as the next one because I always liked how things looked like up in the sky, and a nice picture of an aeroplane like this, I don't know, you could say that I am just over-exaggerating the atmosphere, but seriously this was not a regrettable outing muahahaha!!

And this is the second picture which I took when I was ahead of the rest of them, and this plane happened to fly overhead, so I snapped it before it left hehehe! (Lamppost for verification, LOL)

Finally, we reached Changi Beach! This was another scenery I felt, didn't really quite feel like Singapore once again. But maybe it's because since it was a new kind of place which I have never visited before, everything was looking foreign enough to make it seem "un-Singapore-ish" you can quote me on that term :S

And here we are, on the rather desolated beach of Changi... Those guys seem to be having fun, I wonder what they are doing holding onto kites and surfing at the same time, but speaking of kites, the wind there is FANTASTIC. Practically blows into your face and body and cools you up immediately! It was really nice to simply relax there, and I can honestly say that I wouldn't mind sitting there and just hanging out if we weren't pressed for time to return the bikes we borrowed in four hours. Oh well, another time then Changi, it's a date! >=S

(P.S. LOL, I know I know, I messed up. The trip was so exciting to talk about, I ended up typing most of it out in the end ugh... *sprawls on bed* ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ)
